As an interKanect helper you have the option to host either free or paid interKanect sessions. KBW services charges helpers a flat 20 percent transaction fee on all paid sessions and tips/donations received, which covers the credit card fees, the cost of offering the money-back guarantee, advertising and promotion, and the cost of running the interKanect platform. The cost of the transaction fee is included in the amount paid by the customer.
After answering an incoming interkanect call, you and your caller have 5 minutes to negotiate the call terms such as price and length of the call. Once the call terms are agreed upon, you will enter them in the pop-up window and then click OK. A new pop-up window will appear on the caller's screen displaying the negotiated call terms and requesting approval for payemnt. The caller will then click the Pay button and be taken to paypal to make payment. At this point the interKanect call is suspended. Once the payment is processed, you will automatically be re-connected.
